When I was in elementary school, I learned about the “5 C’s” of Arizona’s early economy. Do you remember what they are? Copper, Cattle, Cotton, Citrus and Climate.
I thought of those 5 C’s again, as I was preparing to run for re-election. I realized that my reasons for running also could be called the 5 C’s: Children, Community, Collaboration, Communication and Committed to Success.
Yep–this is me on my first day of kindergarten, 1973. On my way to Mrs. Pobliago’s class at Emerson Elementary. That sun was in my eyes!
